Three years prior work experience in information technology, including one work experience with Open Source Testing and Source Code Control products.

Strong Experience with at least three of the following packages : Subversion, CVS, BugZilla, OpenSTA, Open KM

DBA skills with at least one of the following are a plus: MySql, DB2 9.0 or SQL Server 2005.

Knowledge of Unix shell scripting is a plus.

Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Scripting like VBScript, Jscript or Windows Script Host is a plus

Experience in Production level support for onsite and offshore teams during their development life cycle is a plus.

Experience in migrating applications from development/test environments to production including customization

Active participation in infrastructure architecture, such as hardware sizing, effort estimation and security

Goal oriented with high standards for quality and performance

Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.

Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, science, engineering or equivalent field.

Prior consulting experience highly desired.

Scope

The Consultant will be responsible for providing expert-level technical leadership for application and technology products supported by the Solutions Network.? The position will be focused on supporting client projects as well as sales teams in the configuration, customization, and implementation of selected packages and applications for sales demonstration as well as client-based project implementations.? In addition to hands-on technical work, this position will also require providing assistance to project teams with architecture design, developing documentation and creating client deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have broad installation and configuration experience with Open Source technologies, preferably in a management consulting environment.

This position may require up to 25% travel.
